Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to welcome you to our community and share the information about our school with you on our website.

Prospect House is a new free special primary school which opened temporarily on the Grange School site in September 2020. In June of 2022, the school community moved into the permanent school site in Higher Blackley North Manchester. The school is the first school in the Trust to be open north of the city offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3 – 11 years old. The brand-new purpose-built site offers specialist facilities including a state-of-the-art hydropool including changing room to pool hoisting, ASC friendly classrooms and corridors, Food Technology Room, Library, Immersive Learning Room, Sensory Regulation Room, Parent Room, Pets as Therapy Dogs (Alfie and Ovie) and two KuneKune Pigs (Sebastian and Dolores).’

Our aim is to work in partnership with you and your family to provide the very best education and outcomes for your child. We ensure that through this partnership each child will achieve their potential and make outstanding progress.

The organisation of our inspiring curriculum reflects the needs of all children, and this website has been designed to help you find out more about the way our school works. I hope that you will find it informative, and it provides you with lots of useful information.
