VE Day

Our school marked VE Day with a joyful and heartfelt celebration that brought our whole community together. Pupils and staff enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea, complete with sandwiches, cakes, and plenty of smiles, before gathering outdoors for a party. The children learnt about the significance of Victory in Europe Day, reflected on its historical importance, and then celebrated with music, dancing, and shared activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to honour the past while creating happy memories together as a school.
