We are excited to announce the introduction of Prospect House’s Parent/Carer and Teacher’s Association (PTA).

The PTA will play a vital role in the school community and help raise funds for whole school projects that will be discussed through termly PTA meetings.

There are various roles within the PTA that will be key to fulfilling our ambitions of successfully enhancing the provision for all pupils within our school community. These include ‘Officer Roles’ (such as Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) and also ‘Ordinary Committee’ members that will work alongside these key roles.

There will also be a number of PTA helpers that will help by running and supporting at specific fundraising events.

We would like to invite parents to our first meeting which will be held on

Thursday 25th April 2024 at Prospect House at 9:15am.

At our first meeting, we will be electing our committee members, if you are interested in being involved or to nominate yourself, please let Louise Carter or Robin Anthony know prior to this meeting date.

What is a PTFA?

Parents and carers have a big impact on how well their children do at school. Taking an active role in your PTFA is one of the ways you can make a difference and get involved:

  • We will raise money to fund school initiatives through charity activities and events
  • We will provide a social support network for parents
  • We  will provide a forum for parents to have a say
  • We will provide volunteers and opportunities so that parents can support their child’s learning
